Overview
One of the most versatile woodstains on the market, Sadolin's All Purpose Woodstain can be used on a wide variety of wooden surfaces, both interior and exterior. It absorbs deeply into the timber to provide superb weather protection. It can be used on its own on decking, fences, and cladding or as a basecoat on new windows and doors.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and dirt free to ensure adhesion.
- Degrease any exposed bare timber by wiping with a cloth dampened with methylated spirits.
- Fill any surface defects, imperfections, or open joints with an appropriate filler such as .
- Only use non-ferrous screws, nails, and fixings.
- Any non-preservative treated softwood timber should be treated with two coats of .
- Base Stained Joinery - Lightly abraded in the direction of the grain but do not break the surface coating.
Application
We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before treating the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Do not apply if there is a risk of rain or if temperatures are below 8°C and above 25°C.
- Supplied ready to use do not thin.
- Apply using a good quality, long-haired, soft bristle brush, applying in the direction of the wood grain.
- Work well into joints and ensure end grains are coated to saturation, redistribute the coating after 10-15minutes

On Joinery to ensure optimum durability and uniformity of appearance, we recommend the use of an overall coat of Sadolin Classic prior to finishing with 2 full coats of .
